Wow, such a horrible landslide for these people! It looks so unreal, and I am sure there is no way for me to understand the situation while looking on my computer, rather than being there! Those boulders are huge! Love and condolences to all friends and family members. I hope the people can find a place to sleep, food and water because their village is destroyed!

Pakistan heatwave worsens as temperatures soar

Having a room, like a basement, is automatically cooler with no electricity! My dad built our house as a basement that he gradually built up on, but the kitchen stayed in the lower part, and our neighbors would come over just to hang out and talk because it was so comfortable in there! There are ancient buildings in Iran that use underground water and towers in buildings to cool with no electricity too!

The funny thing is, ancient people built there, and had floating gardens because the whole area was a swamp and lake, but it was changed by humans after the takeover.... now some are trying to return to the ancient ways. This is happening all over where people didn't work with nature but tried to control it.
