Wow! It is weird though, as a nurse, when some people die..... you can look and look and not be sure, you can listen, and the heartbeat can be so faint, it is difficult to hear with some stethoscopes (they are not all the same), some people have respirations of one or two, very shallow a minute..... Hopefully, I did not send anyone out that was still alive. Blessings to her and her family. This might sound morbid, but, I worked for years with dying people, and I would probably believe that Constance wanted to play one last joke on her family. Maybe she wasn't that kind of person, but maybe she was. Hospice centers do a great job of being loving and attentive to the patients and their families, I am sure this was a surprise to everyone working there!

Finished Basement For Grandma #multigenerationalliving #countrylifevlog

I am the grandma who did this to my house, sort of..... my basement cannot be converted into a beautiful place like this, because of the age of the house and everything down there.... but I made it, so I have a little apartment like place in one part, and there is both a downstairs apartment and a smaller one next to mine downstairs.

Right now, we have them all open, but I can put walls up in the present doorways easily and cheap. I have had my kids, and their families live in the other parts on and off, but, I can also rent for extra money if they want their own place, which has happened. The whole house flows with what is needed. Since I own it, I am the boss.... which is important to me.

But, since I love my children, who are all now adults with their own kids, we try to communicate and get along. I also have a thing called a Transfer Upon Death Deed, which is recorded at the city hall, and if I die, my house will go to my family with no probate court, but, they have no legal say until I do die. You have to trust your family not to want to kill you to get the house to do that, or you can do it in secret too. Your home is lovely, and I like your set up, except, does she mind you just walking in on her like that?
