Just to toss in my thoughts..... I found that a lot of the weeds that grew in my garden are actually MORE nutritious than the foods I was trying to grow! So.... I have changed my diet somewhat to include them too. They grow better, bigger and are healthier for me. I do still like some things though, like tomatoes and cucumbers, that don't grow wild in USA where I live, so, I do grow them. Some of these wild weeds also get a fair market price! There are also some fruits that grow wild, like plum, and mulberry that I have in my yard, that are fantastic! There are others, and I encourage rather than fighting the current, just flowing with it a little for a more enjoyable ride! Every area has some native things that do better than other places, so I strongly encourage paying attention to that too. There is a lot of evidence that the nomadic people also planted like this, as they moved around, they planted nut trees and other foods and simply let nature take care of the growing process while they came back to harvest year after year, and maybe clean up a few things. Love to us all!

Tourists head to Death Valley to feel the record heat

I was in Arizona last fall, 2023, and it was 112 F. , I felt like it made me feel so much better.... something about that heat that feels good on my skin, the weird thing is, I went back to the Midwest, and I felt like it was cold every day until about the middle of June.....(from Sept to June!) I still feel cold in weather around 72F..... I keep wanting to go back! I couldn't be out in the direct sunlight for too long, like 30 min. at a time without feeling like I needed some shade, but once I had that, it was ok. I am 69, and a smoker.... I know I would live longer if I moved back out there than I will if I stay where it is so humid frequently! But.... I also like the nature in the Midwest..... very beautiful too! I saw lots of people walking or riding bikes in the heat..... I don't know how they did that! If I couldn't have gotten to shade or air conditioning, I would be a piece of jerky meat...... hahahahaha
