Abstract

A laser ignition device for controlled burning of forest logging slash has been developed and successfully tested. The device, which uses a kilowatt class carbon dioxide laser, operates at distances of 50 to 1500 meters. Acquisition and focus control are achieved by the use of a laser rangefinder and acquisition telescope. Additional uses for the device include back burning, selected undergrowth removal, safe ignition of oil spills, and deicing. A truck mounted version will be operational by fall 1987 and an airborne version by summer 1988.

I love that Craig is so emotional over this, and he is right to be. It is wrong! The guy at the fire hydrant, there is more than one shut off and on valve, it just so happens that my son and I were looking at the one in front of my house yesterday. There is a great channel, Hawaii Real Estate.... the guy is a real estate person, yes, but he lives there, and started listening to the people, and suddenly realized that something was very wrong... and now is doing all he can to help get the news out and ask people to help the people. I would recommend watching his channel. He said, ask God how you can help, and receive the message, then do it!

Pennsylvania Governor signs bill to guarantee free school meals for kids

Children learn better when they are not hungry, children that learn better will be able to create a better world, not every one of them will, but some will. If we don't give them a chance, we create a world that will not be as good as it could be, it is simple. Then, we are to love each other, and what better way to love others than to make sure we all eat? This bill also helps farmers and gives more people jobs around serving the food and delivery of the food. It is great all around! The only thing bad I have seen is the food they give the kids sometimes is not very healthy, even when it meets basic nutritional standards. Something simple like fruit and oatmeal or yogurt for breakfast, and bigger meal for lunch that is cooked at the school could be better.
