How the U.S. Government Broke the Everglades | Everglades National Park

It is funny that people lived there for thousands of years and respected what was there, it was their source for everything they needed to live. This is sort of like shooting the sugar daddy, as far as people go. But, it shows a total lack of empathy of any other living being. I am glad people are working on changing things as close to what it used to be as possible.
