Hitchhiking with the kids in the 1960's #shorts

No one I knew left their house doors unlocked, but people did leave their cars unlocked, sometimes run into the store with it running, lots of times leave the kids in the car while parents went inside to shop or even drink.

People got killed then too.... most of the time though, for women, it was their husbands who were the danger, and the police didn't do anything about it..... it just started to change right around this time.....

I think this video is just made to make a video, though, because it is too busy of a street, nowhere to pull over.... I hitchhiked and you need a place for the drivers to stop long enough for you to get in the car.... I used to see people hitchhiking with furniture too! In California there would be 20 different groups in a row in some places.... it was quite amazing! Look at those cars in this video and look at that one womans boots..... every cool woman had some boots!
