I was just reading about the Hohokam culture earlier today, because I have been studying the ways ancient people used irrigation in the Middle East, and wondered if some of those methods could be applied to USA Southwest dry dessert areas. It turns out the Hohokam people did that and had large cities using vast irrigation techniques. Thank you for sharing this.
