World's biggest dam removal project changing a California river

The silt that came out was a problem, but everything gradually is returning. As it was, the silt and toxins were sitting at the edge of those dams, but could not be seen.... like having a growth inside your body that is causing an illness.... the removal might need to heal over, but it will. I often think about how societies come and go.... USA will not always be here... it might be a good thing to get rid of the dams so people can survive.... maybe your great-great grandchildren..... I am not being negative..... just think about the changes in our societies in the past 500 years.... besides that.... if any of those failed, all that junk would still flow causing a disaster.... now the waters will flow freely and life will flourish.... this is all a gift for everything else... we need to enjoy what we have been given!
