Looking at CHEAP Land to Live In a Camper On (LEGALLY!)

It would be nice to own a piece of land I could use as legal address, if I ever needed to, is one thing I have thought more than once. If I am living in my vehicle, I would be ok with using BLM land often, but there are things that happen, like breakdown. 30 days maximum to stay on my property camping is a lot of pressure. I think some areas allow an outdoor toilet, but a person has to check all these things out. You didn't mention HOA fees, I want property with none of that!

Also, some property is called recreational, which is different too. And.... some people think about having animals etc, that all depends on what the property is zoned for. One thing too... I have been out there.... agriculture can ruin your day with odors, dust, chemical use, and there are areas where animals like mules and cattle run free, and that is the way it is.

Also.... so many things to hurt you out there, the ground is covered in poky things in some places, no bare feet, bugs and snakes that bite and no hospitals close....... The heat too.... wow! Some areas get flooded, but you can't tell because it is dry most of the time. But.... it is beautiful! It is sooooooo beautiful! The hot arid air is so intense, but I feel like it healed me.... and it can kill you quickly..... but, if you are prepared..... you might just find it is the best thing you ever did.

Also, in the ground, is hardpack.... almost impossible to dig through, and adding water can bring salt up to ruin your land, so you need to talk to people about how to deal with it all. It is kind of like being on another planet! With a little bit of money though, you could put up a roof over your camper to help cool it, you can use solar, you can haul water, you can figure it all out. There are lots of videos on how.
