Baby Rescued From Locked Car While Dad Was in Casino: Cops

It is so funny when someone pleads not guilty to an obvious crime they committed! I was in a casino one time when a kid came walking in, he was looking for his family. He said he woke up in the car and they were gone. So, I told the people that worked there and stayed with him until they could locate the relative. I don't think they got in any trouble though. Gambling is a horrible addiction, I haven't gone in a few years, but just thinking about it, makes me want to go again, so I have to work very hard mentally to Not go! When I was a kid, 60 years ago, it was common for people to go to the bar and leave their kids in the car, sometimes the kid drove the parent home. Amazing how many things have gotten better..... there also was no shelters for domestic abuse victims, or even arrests. Life isn't perfect, but some things are better than not that long ago....
